Communications and Liaising Officer

Purpose: -

To coordinate and implement corporate communications and marketing initiatives, plans & projects and to contribute to the communication strategy

KPA/ Key outputs: -

• Provide inputs to the development of communications and media related strategies and plans for the organisation.
• Co-ordinate all internal and external NRCS events.
• Develop, monitor and update content for internal and external communication platforms.
• Provide graphic design services to the organisation.
• Provide media liaison services to the organisation.
• Provide inputs to the development and implementation of the organisation stakeholder Management Plan.
• Perform communications administrative duties

Experience: -

• National Diploma in Communications, Media studies, Journalism, Public Relations or Marketing

• 3 years’ work experience in Communications and related fields

• Driver's License is requirement

Knowledge & Skills: -

Good knowledge of all the communications disciplines such as internal communications, media liaison, research and development,

marketing and public relations, Good knowledge of government communication policies and best practices, Good knowledge of

corporate identity principles and the advertising strategies, Good knowledge of campaign activations principle, Good knowledge of

corporate social media best practices, Working knowledge of media strategies and methodologies, Working knowledge of webliteracy and corporate photography, Excellent writing and interviewing skills, stakeholder engagement and basic design skills
