About the role
This position sits within a small, high-output communications department. The Communications Junior Adviser will support the day-to-day production and distribution of content across digital channels and publications.
The right candidate is organized, curious, writes clearly, has a good eye for design, and wants to build practical skills in communications and content creation within an international non-profit environment.
What you will do
- Social media drafting: Draft and schedule content for LinkedIn channels, following the editorial calendar and brand voice guidelines.
- Visual asset creation: Design graphics for social media, newsletters, and publications using Canva.
- Video production: Create short-form video content and assist with editing for social media and internal communications.
- Newsletter support: Layout, schedule, and distribute newsletters using HubSpot.
- Analytics monitoring: Compile monthly performance reports across social media and newsletters.
- Content calendar management: Update and coordinate with the Communications team.
- Document production: Help produce branded reports, presentations, and documents.
- Event communications: Assist with pre-event content, on-site assets, and post-event materials.
- Competitor monitoring: Track industry activity to support content ideation.
What we are looking for
- Education background: Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Design, or related field.
- Canva proficiency: Basic skills in Canva.
- Digital interest: Passion for social media, content creation, and digital communications.
- Organisation skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Curiosity: Interest in labour markets, European policy, or international organisations is a plus.
- Video editing: Skills are an advantage.
- Language skills: Strong written English; multilingual candidates welcome (working language is English).
