Minimum Requirements
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, communications, public relations, tourism, or a

- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with a natural flair for compelling storytelling.
- Highly organised, proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects seamlessly.
- A confident communicator, comfortable engaging with senior leaders, media professionals, and brand partners.
- Strong project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Agency experience is advantageous but not essential
Duties and Responsibilities

- Managing Newmark's press office and media relationships, including proactive pitching, responding to media enquiries, maintaining targeted media lists and building strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers and relevant travel and lifestyle media.
- Writing, editing and distributing press releases, media statements, property fact sheets, executive messaging, talking points and other internal and external communications, with a strong focus on accuracy, tone and brand consistency.
- Planning and managing press trips, hosted media stays, site visits and media familiarisation visits end to end, including media vetting, property liaison, itineraries, briefing documents, hosting requirements, follow-up and coverage tracking
- Developing and executing launch communications for new properties, refurbishments, restaurant concepts and major group announcements, from messaging and media strategy through to launch activity and post-launch follow-up.
- Overseeing Newmark's corporate LinkedIn presence and supporting thought-leadership opportunities, executive profiling and relevant corporate storytelling.
- Managing PR monitoring, reporting and analytics, including accurate monthly coverage summaries, AVE and reach reporting, coverage quality analysis and strategic recommendations using media monitoring platforms such as Novus.
- Supporting crisis communication, issues management and reputation management, including drafting holding statements, key messages and communication frameworks in collaboration with senior leadership and relevant operational teams.
- Collaborating closely with digital, content, social media, sales and revenue teams on SEO-led content, Newmark Life, influencer and creator activity, brand partnerships and integrated campaigns to ensure communications support broader marketing and revenue objectives.
- Supporting advertising and media buying by researching relevant print and digital publications, evaluating opportunities, negotiating partnership agreements and securing value-added editorial or digital exposure where appropriate.
- Coordinating with external PR, media and brand partners where required, ensuring clear briefs, deadlines, deliverables and reporting.
- Maintaining up-to-date press materials and communications resources, including press kits, property information, media assets, executive biographies and approved brand messaging.
