CONSTRUCTION SAFETY REPRESENTATIVE / FIRST AIDER
Agility Projects & Consulting (Pty) Ltd is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Construction Safety Representative / First Aider for a major civil infrastructure and electrical construction project in Gauteng.

Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:
Minimum 2 years’ experience on construction, civil, electrical, utility, infrastructure or industrial projects
Knowledge of:
- Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993)
- Construction Regulations, 2014
- Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA)
- Site inspections and safety monitoring
- Emergency response procedures
- Toolbox talks and safety briefings
Mandatory Certifications
✔ First Aid Level 2
✔ SHE Representative Training
✔ Basic Fire Fighting
✔ HIRA / Risk Assessment Training
✔ Working at Heights (advantageous)
✔ Incident Investigation (advantageous)
✔ Construction Health & Safety training (advantageous)
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting daily site safety inspections
- Participating in risk assessments and HIRA activities
- Conducting toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Monitoring compliance with OHS legislation and project SHE requirements
- Maintaining first aid equipment and records
- Assisting with incident reporting and investigations
- Conducting workplace inspections and reporting unsafe conditions
- Assisting the Construction Health & Safety Officer
- Supporting emergency preparedness and response activities
- Maintaining SHE documentation and registers
