Podhaus designs and manufactures premium modular pod homes that are shipped across South Africa. We're growing quickly and need motivated people who enjoy building high-quality products with their hands.

We're looking for both general factory workers and experienced finishers who take pride in their workmanship.

Positions Available

Skilled Finishers

We are looking for experienced people with one or more of the following skills:

Carpentry & cabinetry
Interior finishing
Cladding installation
Flooring installation
Window & door installation
Waterproofing & sealing
Silicone finishing
Roofing
Drywall & ceiling installation
Painting & finishing
General construction experience

Factory Workers / General Assistants

Ideal for people with experience in:

Construction
Manufacturing
Carpentry
Workshop environments
Steel fabrication
General labour

What You'll Do

Build and assemble modular pod homes.
Install insulation, wall linings, flooring and ceilings.
Fit windows, doors and hardware.
Operate hand and power tools safely.
Keep your work area clean and organised.
Work as part of a fast-paced production team.
Maintain high standards of workmanship.

Minimum Requirements

Construction or factory experience preferred.
Skilled finishers should have at least 3 years relevant experience.
Ability to use common hand and power tools.
Physically fit and able to work on your feet.
Reliable, hardworking and punctual.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Able to work well within a team.
South African ID or valid work permit.

Advantageous

Driver's licence
Experience building timber structures or modular buildings
Have your own tools
Carpentry qualification or trade experience
Ability to read drawings
Forklift licence
