Content Creator and Social Media Administrator

We are seeking a creative, motivated and enthusiastic Video Content Creator & Social Media Administrator. The ideal candidate must be creative, motivated and an enthusiastic Creator. In this role you need to create engaging social media content and explore fresh ideas. You will be required to run advertising campaigns and drive engagement by creating high-quality original content on all Nu Metro and Foodbox Social Media Platforms. You should engage influencers, manage our community by responding to comments timeously, and oversee our customer service across all platforms.

Your creative thinking skills and strategies will play an essential part in driving our digital narrative, enhancing our brands image, improving digital communications with customers and encouraging business growth through effective campaigns.

As a Content Creator, we expect you to be up to date with the latest digital technologies and social media trends. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to express our company's views creatively.

You should be able to handle our social media presence and Google ads, ensuring high levels of web traffic and customer engagement.

Key responsibilities:

· Capture photos and record short videos for social media and marketing purposes.

• Assist in planning, preparing and publishing content across the company’s social media platforms.
• Edit video clips, photographs and other digital materials to create engaging content.
• Contribute new ideas for social media posts, promotional videos and marketing campaigns.
• Research current trends, popular content formats and creative approaches to improve audience engagement.
• Help maintain a consistent and appealing online presence for both Foodbox and Nu Metro Cinemas.
• Support the team with general content creation and related creative tasks.
• Media liaison across all Cinemas.
• Copywriting across all media channels outside of social media.
• Community Management.

• Social media content creation at events and live posting.
• Sending confirmation to studios of merchandise competitions when requested.
• Provide reporting from social media pages on campaigns and promotions on request.

Requirements and Skills

• Marketing of Public Relations qualifications preferred.
• Experience in marketing, communication or branding preferable.
• South African Driver’s License.
• Must be expert in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Communication skills (Verbal and written).
• A passion for social media, video creation and digital marketing.
• Basic familiarity with platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and Facebook.
• Confidence in using a smartphone to capture photos and record videos.
• Basic knowledge of video or photo editing tools is an advantage.
• A creative approach to developing new content ideas.
• Good organizational and communication skills.
• A positive attitude, attention to details and a willingness to learn.
• The ability to follow instructions, work with others and assist with various projects.
• Time Management ability.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Deadline driven.

Pay: R15 000,00 per month
