CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER
About The Job We are looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive operational excellence across our production and operations environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for identifying inefficiencies, leading process improvement initiatives, reducing waste, and implementing sustainable solutions that enhance productivity, quality and cost performance.
You will work cross-functionally with Production, Planning, Warehouse and Quality teams to standardise processes, improve system accuracy and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the business
KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
- Identify and lead continuous improvement projects across operations
- Conduct time studies, process analysis and root cause investigations
- Drive waste reduction, cost control and efficiency improvements
- Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions and process documentation
- Analyse operational data and provide actionable insights
- Ensure ERP (Odoo or similar) accuracy and production data integrity
- Improve production planning parameters (BOMs, routings, lead times)
- Monitor and improve stock accuracy and operational performance metrics
- Train teams on new processes and support change adoption
- Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO and safety standards
- Support cross-functional alignment and collaboration
- Manage improvement projects from initiation to implementation
About You You are analytical, structured and naturally curious, with a passion for solving problems and improving systems.
You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and have a strong ability to translate data into actionable improvements. You are proactive, detail-oriented and able to influence change across teams.
You take ownership, communicate effectively and are committed to delivering measurable results.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing or operations environment
- Proven experience in process improvement or continuous improvement roles
- Experience implementing Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
- Exposure to ERP systems (Odoo or similar)
KNOWLEDGE
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S methodologies
- Data analysis, KPI management and reporting
- Root cause analysis techniques (5 Why, A3, etc.)
- Production planning and operational workflows
- GMP / ISO standards and compliance
- SOP development and process documentation

- Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Willingness to work after hours when required
