Job description
We are seeking a Contract Cleaning Area Manager.
To maintain integrated contract revenue and oversee cleaning operations, ensuring optimal efficiency, contract retention, and the preservation of strong client relationships.
What We’re Looking For:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma/ Degree Business Management
- Minimum 5years Operations and General Management experience
- Strong People Management/Human Resources experience with emotional intelligence
- HACCP accreditation and experience in hygiene standards
- Good customer liaison skills / Strong communications skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft programmes and preparing of basic reports or interpretation of reports such as Labour costs reports
- Ability to manage and supervise cleaning employees and Supervisors
- Strong written communication skills
- Your own reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license

- dsResponsible for the recruitment of cleaning personal according to company policy & procedur
- esResponsible for maintaining and managing all cleaning chemical and equipment costs and expenditure per si
- teResponsible for attending to all disciplinary and HR issues in cleaning divisi
- onEnsure all staff are inducted and maintain all health and safety procedures on all customer’s sites – ensure ISO compliance is adhered
- toResponsible for ensuring staff are provided with protective wear on an annual bas
- isGood customer relations and regular weekly visits and completion of site inspections for
- msEnsuring the cleaning standards are maintained to ISO standards at customer sit
- esCollate any accidents reports on site – stats to Ops Manag
- erCollate and submit cleaning staff timesheets for payroll processing month
- lyOccasionally transport staff to site when absenteeism occu
- rsAssist when required on additional cleaning division projects such as window cleaning & event cleani
