Contract / Project Manager – Gardening Services
Minimum Requirements
- National Diploma or Degree in Project Management, Horticulture, Environmental Management, Agriculture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Facilities Management or a related field
- Minimum 5 years’ experience managing gardening, landscaping, vegetation management, facilities maintenance or similar operational projects
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and subcontractors
- Experience in contract administration and client liaison
- Sound understanding of Occupational Health & Safety requirements
- Strong planning, scheduling and resource management skills
- Ability to prepare project reports and monitor contract performance
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
- Valid South African driver’s licence (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall execution of the gardening and vegetation management contract
- Plan, coordinate and supervise site operations
- Manage project personnel, subcontractors and resources
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications, quality standards and Health & Safety requirements
- Monitor project schedules, productivity and performance
- Liaise with the client and attend project meetings
- Manage project reporting, documentation and contract administration
- Ensure efficient utilisation of labour, equipment and materials
- Drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
