Control Room Agent

Job overview/Purpose of the Job:

• To be the first in line of contact in emergencies relating to Sublime customers.
• Managing the output of the Control Room
• Managing a turn-around time, feedback and completion, call updates, internal and external queries as required for by the company in order to reach its objectives.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

· Ensuring that the Control Room remains secure at all times and that no unauthorized persons enter the Control Room.

· Monitoring and manage signals that enter into the secured alert platform. Also, monitoring and controlling alerts.

· Ensuring surveillance/alerts monitors are observed at all times and ensure that the units are reporting and acknowledges on time.

· Monitoring of all signals triggered by the unit.

· Functioning as a dispatcher to the second line reaction.

· Handling incoming and outgoing calls.

· May perform other duties as assigned.

· Escalating queries to the relevant department.

· Complete other tasks related to the role as requested by line manager

Education and/or work experience requirements:

• Grade 12
• 2 years control room call centre experience essential
• Previous experience in vehicle tracking industry
• Must be willing to work night shift and on weekends
• Must be alert and have the ability to think on their feet
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be self-motivated and reliable
• Good telephone etiquette
• Computer literate

• The ability to communicate effectively. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.
• Attention to detail.
• The ability to perform more than one task at a go (Multi-Tasking)
• Attentive Time Management.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: R8 000,00 per month
