Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Controller/Vehicle Stock. The Controller/Vehicle Stock will be responsible for managing our vehicle inventory, ensuring accurate tracking of all vehicles in and out of stock, and overseeing the procurement and purchasing process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as a background in inventory management and automotive industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory, including tracking vehicles in and out of stock, conducting regular audits, and ensuring inventory levels are optimized.
  • Coordinate with sales team to ensure proper documentation and transfer of vehicles in and out of stock.
  • Monitor and report on vehicle aging and turnover rates, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with suppliers and vendors to procure vehicles, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with finance team to reconcile inventory and financial records.
  • Develop and implement inventory management policies and procedures to ensure the efficiency and accuracy of stock monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Matric Qualification
  • Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Experience in inventory management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of vehicle ordering, invoicing, fleet management, vehicle registration and Dealer Management systems DMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
