CR OPERATOR

Job description:

A Milnerton Crime Prevention business, requires a Full time Controller with EXPERIENCE to work shifts and to join their existing team

(DO NOT APPLY UNLESS YOU MEET THE CRITERIA AND HAVE EXPERIENCE- AND YOU MUST RESIDE WITHIN 30 kms RADIUS FROM MILNERTON- CAPE TOWN)

Alarm Installation & Monitoring, Armed Response, CCTV & LPR camera monitoring.
Based in Milnerton Precinct, covering Royal Ascot, Milnerton Ridge, Montague Gardens, Sunset Beach & Sunset Links areas.

ALARM MONITORING CONTROLLER:

A minimum of a Grade C Psira certification is required together with 3 years of practical experience to be considered eligible for an experienced Controllers rate of pay.

Excellent knowledge and practical experience of Microsoft WORD and EXCEL is a MUST

· Monitoring Listener Alarm signals

· Dispatching Alarm calls to reaction officers

· Reporting and recording evidence for company/client

· Dealing with alarm related complaints

· Dealing with day to day client liaison, both verbal & written

· Monitoring the CCTV Camera network

Must be fully bilingual (English/Afrikaans)

Your role will be protecting our clients by effective monitoring of both alarm and CCTV systems. Early detection and dispatching of Armed Response Officers is critical in your role and to our customers, where every second counts.

The role will suit someone who thrives under pressure, who can manage each situation effectively, coordinating the activity of the Armed Response Officer and maintaining the safety of the customer.

Being alert, proactive, with an inquisitive mind-set, determined to help catch the criminal, and follow through with the compilation of evidence required within each incident is key to the role
