Crane Inspectors (LMI'S)

The Crane Inspector is responsible for the inspection, examination, and compliance verification of offshore cranes and lifting equipment. The role supports asset integrity and lifting assurance programs by conducting inspections, identifying defects, reviewing maintenance records, and ensuring compliance with industry and client standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct offshore crane inspections and examinations.
• Assess crane structures, components, and lifting systems.
• Review maintenance, inspection, and certification records.
• Identify defects, non-conformances, and integrity concerns.
• Produce inspection reports and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with client, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Support lifting assurance and asset integrity programs.
• Participate in safety meetings, risk assessments, and toolbox talks.

Requirements

• LEEA Foundation (FOU).
• LEEA Lifting Accessories (LAC).
• LEEA Programme for Lifting Machines (PLM).
• LEEA Mobile Lifting Machines (MLM).
• Minimum 3-5 years offshore crane inspection experience.
• Experience inspecting pedestal and offshore cranes.
• Valid offshore medical.
• Valid offshore survival certification.

Advantageous

• API 2D certification.

• API 2C certification.

• Additional LEEA certifications.

• Previous offshore oil & gas experience.

• LEEA certified: FOU, LAC, PLM & MLM (Minimum)

• API 2D & 2C certification (advantageous)

• Minimum 3-5 years offshore crane inspection experience
