RCL FOODS is seeking a X2 Crate Washer FTC to join our RCL FOODS Division. The role will be based in Pretoria West and report to the Team Leader. RCL FOODS entrusts the responsible individual to ensure optimum quality products through completing proper clean-up and sanitation tasks by following regulatory standards, ensuring the product and process are both clean and sterile pack finished product and preparing finished product for shipmen.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Receive crates from customers
• Hang crates in crate conveyor belt
• Ensure that production have sufficient crates at all times
• Separate clean crates from dirty crates and top up water when water level is low
• Ensure good housekeeping
• Attend and participate in all relevant company safety programs
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices this would include making sure that you wearing required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety
• Utilizing continuous improvement mind-set, assist in identifying opportunities to improve process
• Work shifts as required and you may be asked to go out with delivery vehicles from time to time

Minimum Requirements

Minimum qualification and experience requirements

• Matric
• Read and Write
• Minimum 1 year beverage product packing

Knowledge

• Storage Area Control
• Safety Health and Environment aspects

Skills

• Extensive knowledge of product handing, labelling and storage practices
• Familiarity with basic math and warehouse management
