Job description
About Zenit Corp
Zenit Corp is a fast growing ecommerce group that owns and operates multiple DTC brands across different markets.
We are building a portfolio of high potential ecommerce brands with strong fundamentals, scalable systems, and ambitious long term growth plans. Our goal is to create a multi brand ecommerce group capable of reaching significant scale across different verticals.
The company is currently in a high growth stage and is projected to reach 8 figures in annual revenue this year. This creates a unique opportunity for people joining now to take ownership, grow with the company, and help shape the next stage of the group.
We are looking for builders, leaders, and operators who want to help scale a company with real ambition.
The person joining as Creative Strategist will be responsible for turning customer insights, market research, competitor analysis, platform trends, and performance data into creative concepts that help the company produce better ads and scale its brands.
For the right person, this role has a clear path toward becoming a key creative and growth leader inside a multi brand ecommerce group, with scope and compensation upside growing as Zenit Corp scales.
This is an opportunity to join early, take ownership, create impact, and help build the creative strategy function of a group with ambitious long term goals.
Role
The Creative Strategist is responsible for connecting marketing performance with creative execution. This person turns research, data, customer psychology, and business priorities into clear creative direction for paid social, landing pages, campaign concepts, and content tests.
This role is not limited to coming up with ideas. The Creative Strategist is responsible for building a structured creative process, identifying winning angles, writing strong creative briefs, analyzing what is working, and helping the team produce ads designed to perform.
This person works directly with the Head Of Marketing and marketing team, and collaborates with media buyers, designers, editors, copywriters, and creators to make sure creative output is aligned with growth objectives.
The role is expected to bring taste, structure, speed, and performance oriented thinking to a growing ecommerce group.
Creative Strategist Responsibilities ❖ Creative Strategy & Research
➢ Research customers, competitors, market trends, ad libraries, reviews, comments, and social platforms to identify strong creative opportunities.
➢ Translate customer motivations, objections, desires, and buying triggers into creative angles, hooks, messages, and offers.
➢ Build a clear understanding of each brand’s positioning and customer psychology.
➢ Stay close to what is working across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
❖ Ad Concepts, Hooks & Creative Briefs
➢ Develop new ad concepts, hooks, scripts, storyboards, UGC directions, landing page ideas, and campaign angles.
➢ Write clear creative briefs that explain the objective, target customer, key message, structure, examples, and success criteria.
➢ Create both quick iterations and bigger creative tests that can help unlock new performance.
➢ Maintain an organized backlog of creative tests, angles, and hypotheses for each brand.
❖ Performance Analysis & Creative Testing
➢ Analyze creative performance with the marketing team to understand what drives clicks, conversions, CPA, ROAS, retention, and scale.
➢ Identify patterns in winning and losing creatives and turn those patterns into new tests.
➢ Help define creative testing roadmaps and prioritize the ideas most likely to improve performance.
➢ Create feedback loops between performance results and future creative production.
❖ Collaboration With Creative Production
➢ Work closely with designers, editors, copywriters, media buyers, creators, and other team members to turn ideas into finished assets.
➢ Give clear, practical, and constructive feedback on creative work.
➢ Make sure creative assets are aligned with the brief, the brand, the customer insight, and the performance goal.
➢ Build repeatable frameworks, references, and standards that help the team produce better creative over time.
❖ Brand, Customer & Market Understanding
➢ Protect each brand’s positioning while still pushing for strong direct response performance.
➢ Use customer language to improve ads, landing pages, hooks, and messages.
➢ Identify new angles based on customer objections, product benefits, competitive gaps, and market shifts.
➢ Help the company build a stronger creative foundation as the group grows.
What This Role Is Not
➢ This role is not a traditional Creative Director role focused only on visual taste or brand aesthetics.
➢ This role is not a graphic designer, video editor, or content creator role, although it works closely with those functions.
➢ This role is not responsible for managing ad spend or making final media buying decisions alone.
➢ This role is not a pure social media management or community management role.
➢ This role is not responsible for defining company strategy on its own.
➢ This role is not about producing random ideas without research, structure, testing, or performance accountability.
The Creative Strategist owns creative research, angles, briefs, testing direction, performance learning, and creative feedback loops. The Head Of Marketing and marketing leadership own final business priorities, budgets, and strategic decisions.
Compensation & Benefits
➢ Compensation package of up to 20k USD including bonus, depending on experience, scope of responsibility, and performance.
➢ Opportunity to play a key role inside a rapidly growing ecommerce group.
➢ Direct exposure to company strategy, performance marketing, creative production, and brand growth.
➢ High ownership over the creation of the group’s creative strategy function.
➢ Clear path toward becoming a key creative and growth leader within a multi brand ecommerce group.
➢ Additional performance bonuses for working ads: when a concept, hook, script, or creative brief becomes a strong performing ad and materially helps improve results, the role can receive extra upside tied to that impact.
Ideal Candidate
➢ Strong creative strategy profile with the ability to connect customer insight, storytelling, and performance data.
➢ Comfortable working directly with a founder led leadership team.
➢ Able to create clear, useful, and execution oriented creative briefs.
➢ Strong understanding of paid social creative, direct response marketing, customer psychology, hooks, angles, offers, and creative testing.
➢ Comfortable analyzing ad performance and translating data into practical creative improvements.
➢ Strong written communication and copywriting ability.
➢ Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable building systems from scratch in a fast moving company.
➢ Able to collaborate with designers, editors, media buyers, copywriters, creators, and marketing operators.
➢ Has strong taste, customer empathy, and performance oriented judgment.
➢ Ambitious and comfortable operating in a fast paced, high growth environment.
➢ Previous experience in ecommerce, DTC brands, performance marketing, paid social, creative strategy, UGC, advertising, copywriting, or growth teams is highly valued.
➢ Fluent written and spoken English, C1 level mandatory.
