Job description
Hoekstra Fruit Farms is looking for an organised, detail-oriented graduate to join our finance team. The successful candidate will manage the creditors function and assist with general accounting tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Process supplier invoices and check them against supporting documents.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare payments and respond to supplier queries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date creditors records.
- Assist with journals, general ledger reconciliations and month-end procedures.
- Provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team.
Requirements
- Experience in a creditors or junior accounting role.
- Good Excel skills and experience using accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant accounting qualification will be an advantage.
