Job description
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and host daily onboard activities, games, trivia, sports, and themed events.
- Welcome guests and provide information about the ship's entertainment schedule.
- Assist with stage productions, parties, and special events.
- Act as a master of ceremonies (MC) during activities and entertainment programs.
- Encourage guest participation and create a friendly, energetic atmosphere.
- Assist with youth, family, and adult activities as assigned.
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and requests professionally.
- Maintain activity equipment and ensure venues are prepared before events.
- Follow safety, health, and company policies at all times.
- Work collaboratively with the entertainment team and other onboard departments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or tourism qualifications are an advantage).
- Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment, customer service, or event coordination preferred.
- Strong communication and public speaking skills.
- Outgoing, energetic, and confident personality.
- Ability to entertain large groups and engage people from different cultures.
- Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays while living onboard.
Pay: R18 000,00 - R25 000,00 per month
