Minimum Requirements: Candidates should possess a Grade 12 certificate or its equivalent at NQF level. Availability and flexibility to work various shifts are essential to meet business needs. Prior experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred to ensure familiarity with customer interaction and transactional processes. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers warmly and resolve queries effectively. Basic numeracy and literacy skills are necessary for managing till transactions and documentation accurately. A commitment to honesty, reliability, and adherence to ethical standards is required. The ability to maintain attention to detail, manage stock levels, and apply selling skills will enable success in this role. Candidates should also demonstrate self-discipline in attendance, dress code, and timekeeping, along with the capacity to work well under pressure.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and acknowledge their needs to deliver exceptional service at the customer service desk.
- Process all till transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and resolving payment issues politely.
- Assist customers by addressing queries, complaints, and requests promptly or escalating to management when necessary.
- Apply basic selling techniques, including promoting the Woolworths loyalty card and referring customers to relevant services.
- Maintain effective stock control by accurately completing return to vendor (RTV) and waste dockets, and identifying shrinkage risks.
- Ensure the customer service desk area is clean, hygienic, and well-stocked with consumables throughout the day.
- Demonstrate product knowledge and uphold store standards by applying established principles and shop-keeping disciplines.
- Promote a safe shopping environment by reporting suspicious activities and adhering to shrinkage prevention protocols.
- Exhibit personal leadership through disciplined attendance, adherence to dress code, and active participation in team meetings.
- Work effectively under pressure, maintaining professionalism and a customer-focused approach at all times.
