SUMMARY: Our client in the Manufacturing Sector is currently looking to employ a Customer Liaison Officer: Sales and Marketing to join their dynamic team in Bloemfontein, Free State. An awesome career opportunity awaits you! POSITION INFO: Requirements: Certificate in Customer Service, Marketing, Exports or related qualification (NQF 5). Up to 3 years' Customer Service experience or experience operating as a Customer Liaison Officer in a manufacturing environment. Computer Literate with Microsoft Office and SAP Responsibilities, but not limited to: Deliver effective and efficient service to business, customer and end-user queries. Approach problem-solving with a can-do attitude. Offer fast, courteous and knowledgeable service when assisting with telephonic and email queries. Ensure end-users are understood clearly to avoid repeat queries and complaints and offer first-time resolution. Identify and solve problems within own operating area. Contact customers daily as per calling schedule. Receive calls and orders from customers. Liaise with and receive work instructions from the Business Representative. Check account status, credit viability and limits. Check stock availability and advise customers. Record orders on order sheets. Generate orders on SAP as per generating orders procedure. Release orders (invoice generation) for shipment and FLO (Feedback Logistics Optimizer). Advise Warehouse and Distribution Manager, Supervisor and Value Logistics Supervisor on orders not released. Control special, late and same-day deliveries by recording them in the special, late delivery book. Advise customers of planned delivery times. Generate orders on SAP as per claims procedure. Generate instructions on SAP as per Check and Charge Procedure. Generate orders on SAP as per rotation procedure. Address queries passed on by Value Logistics within 8 hours of receipt. Address special and miscellaneous customer requests. Provide quotes to customers on an ad hoc basis. Build and maintain customer service standards with the Warehouse and Distribution Department and Business Representative. Resolve customer queries passed on by the Business Representative or other stakeholders. Support the team with overflow work when required. Identify and solve problems while demonstrating a high level of integrity. Operate within controls and procedures. Report risks or areas of concern to management. Promote compliance with relevant regulations and procedures. Support the effective and transparent use of financial and other resources. Limit expenditure, reduce costs and report budget deviations to the direct manager.
