Role Overview
The Customer Service Host is responsible for delivering high-quality support to customers through live chat, telephone, and email.
You will resolve questions and complaints, process customer information accurately, build strong customer relationships, and ensure every interaction meets the company’s service standards.
This is a shift-based position supporting a 24/7 customer service operation.

Location : Cape Town, South Africa (Century City) - Onsite
Employment type : Full-time
Schedule : Rotational 24/7 shifts, including weekends and public holidays ( Reliable transportation for all shift times)
Key Responsibilities
● Respond to customer questions through telephone, email, and live chat
● Manage incoming and outgoing customer communications across multiple channels
● Investigate and resolve customer questions and complaints
● Take full ownership of customer-related matters through resolution
● Record accurate and relevant information in internal databases
● Build and maintain positive customer relationships
● Identify appropriate opportunities to cross-sell products and services
● Complete all assigned responsibilities during each shift
● Manage multiple customer interactions while maintaining service quality
● Follow schedules and manage time effectively
● Complete additional reasonable tasks assigned by managers or shift supervisors
Essential Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:
● Matric with at least two years of customer service experience; or
● A completed degree or diploma, with no previous customer service experience required
Candidates must also have:
● Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
● The ability to manage complex customer interactions calmly and effectively
● Strong problem-solving skills
● Exceptional attention to detail
● The ability to work collaboratively toward shared team goals
● The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and situations
● Strong time-management skills and schedule adherence
● Availability to work rotational shifts across a 24/7 operation
● Reliable transportation to and from work, including during non-standard hours
