WE’RE HIRING: CYBERSECURITY MANAGER
📍 Location: Randburg
Our client is looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Manager to lead and strengthen their Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) function.
This is a strategic leadership position responsible for overseeing cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance, security controls and organisational resilience.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures
• Provide strategic and technical leadership across Cybersecurity GRC
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments and maintain risk registers
• Develop and monitor risk mitigation plans
• Lead cybersecurity compliance initiatives and internal/external audits
• Ensure compliance with ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 and applicable regulatory requirements
• Review security controls and drive continuous improvement
• Support business continuity, disaster recovery and incident management initiatives
• Develop and implement cybersecurity awareness and training programmes
• Assess and monitor third-party cybersecurity risks
• Prepare cybersecurity reports, risk assessments, audit findings and security metrics for management
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to business units, project teams and management
• Lead, coach and develop cybersecurity resources
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security or a related field
Postgraduate qualification in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or a related discipline is advantageous
14+ years' experience within IT, Information Systems and Project Management environments
8+ years' progressive experience in Cybersecurity GRC
Proven experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, compliance and audit
Strong knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2 and cybersecurity best practices
Experience developing cybersecurity policies, frameworks, controls and risk management strategies
Experience managing cybersecurity audits and regulatory compliance initiatives
Strong leadership and stakeholder management experience
