SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Data Analyst to take ownership of data integrity and flow across operational systems — monitoring, validating and coordinating data movement to ensure continuity, prevent loss, and proactively manage risk within defined operational parameters. Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Monitor end-to-end data flow across operational systems for continuity and accuracy
• Analyse and manage workflow reports to track operational performance and data movement
• Report to management on data status, pipeline status and workflow performance
• Identify and highlight shortfall areas within defined parameters and recommend practical solutions to rectify
• Implement controls to prevent data loss within operational processes
• Assess, document and manage data-related risks in systems and workflows
• Coordinate data processes between departments within defined operational parameters
• Validate incoming and outgoing data for completeness, accuracy and consistency
• Develop and maintain data flow maps, documentation and control frameworks
• Monitor system integrations and flag anomalies or discrepancies timeously
• Conduct root-cause analysis on data errors and implement corrective measures
• Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance requirements
• Recommend improvements to data flow efficiency and system reliability

POSITION INFO: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS 5+ years' experience in a Data Analyst or operational data management role Relevant qualification in Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Finance or related field Proven experience monitoring and managing data flows in operational systems Strong understanding of data governance, quality controls and risk management Advanced SQL proficiency for data interrogation, validation and reporting Experience with workflow analysis and operational reporting Experience with ERP, CRM or business management systems Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau Ability to identify shortfalls, propose solutions and report findings to management KEY SKILLS Data Flow Monitoring Data Integrity Workflow Analysis Risk Identification Data Governance SQL Advanced Pipeline Management Power BI \/ Tableau Management Reporting Shortfall Analysis Root-Cause Analysis Stakeholder Coordination ERP \/ CRM Systems Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical thinking Strong written and verbal communication skills ROLE FOCUS This role is centred on the reliable, controlled flow of data through the operational systems.
