Data Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will focus on analyzing data sets to derive actionable insights, support decision-making processes, and drive business strategies. Your expertise in data analysis will help shape the future direction of our operations.

Education

• Matric
• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, DataAnalytics, or a related field. Relevantcertifications in Power BI, SQL, Microsoft datatools or analytics disciplines will be

advantageous.

Knowledge and experience

• 2–5 years’ experience in analytics, business intelligence or reporting roles.
• Strong SQL capability, including complex joins, CTEs, subqueries, window functions and validation of
• business logic.
• Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and Power Query; basic VBA will be advantageous.
• Proven experience building interactive Power BI dashboards and reports; working knowledge of
• intermediate DAX is preferred.
• Practical experience using Python for data wrangling, automation, basic statistical analysis and file or
• system integrations.
• Good understanding of data modelling, relational structures and basic warehousing concepts such afacts, dimensions and star schemas.
• Experience translating stakeholder requirements into usable reports, dashboards and analysis outputs.
• Ability to simplify complex data into clear commentary, visuals and business recommendations.
• Exposure to SSMS and familiarity with SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, finance or another data-intensive operational environment will be
• advantageous.
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving ability.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate or seek input.
• Clear written, verbal and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
