Job description
Data Capturer
Job Purpose: To accurately capture, verify, and maintain property valuation data and banking-related documentation on Excel spreadsheets and internal systems. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to manage confidential information within agreed turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture and update property evaluation and valuation information accurately on Excel spreadsheets and internal databases.
- Review and process banking documentation related to property finance and valuations.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of documents received from banks, valuers, and clients.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for property-related records.
- Perform quality checks to ensure captured data is accurate and compliant with company standards.
- Generate and update reports as required by management and clients.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
- Ensure confidentiality of client, banking, and property information at all times.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly data capturing targets and deadlines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Certificate or qualification in Administration, Data Capturing, or a related field will be advantageous.
- Previous experience in data capturing, property valuation, banking, or administrative environments preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong typing and data entry skills.
Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle large volumes of data efficiently.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of banking documentation and property valuation processes will be advantageous.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
