Job Advert Summary
The purpose of this role is to design, develop, and deliver scalable digital solutions that streamline business processes and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. By leveraging the Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Fabric, the Developer & Data Engineer will bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery, combining low-code application development with modern data engineering practices. The role ensures that solutions are secure, reliable, and production-ready while empowering business users through accessible and efficient technology.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Microsoft certifications (Power Platform / Fabric / Azure) advantageous
- Strong problem-solver with a structured, quality-focused mindset
- Able to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Comfortable working across business and IT teams
- Proactive, delivery-oriented and eager to grow technical capability
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and develop business applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven).
- Automate workflows and integrations using Power Automate.
- Configure and leverage SharePoint Online for data capture, content management and process enablement.
- Design and build data pipelines and curated datasets on Microsoft Fabric.
- Ingest and transform data from enterprise systems (e.g. SAP, M365, line-of-business systems).
- Develop data models optimised for reporting and analytics (Power BI/Grafana integration).
- Apply secure, governed development practices across Dev / Test / Prod environments.
- Ensure data quality, documentation and operational readiness of solutions.

Proven hands-on experience with:

Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse / Warehouse / Data Pipelines)

Strong understanding of data modelling and ETL/ELT concepts

SQL skills and exposure to Spark/Python advantageous
