RESPONSIBILITIES**:**
A vacancy exists within ARRB Systems South Africa for two Data Processors. The purpose of the role is to verify, process and analyse data collected by ARRB specialised equipment to provide accurate reports and enable informed decision-making regarding road infrastructure maintenance and improvement.
The successful candidates will also be responsible for identifying and resolving data processing errors using the appropriate tools, datasets, software and utilities available within the business.
The role requires highly analytical and detail-oriented individuals with a passion for working with data and technology. This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidates attendance at the Westmead Office as operational requirements dictate.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
- Verify, process and quality check road survey and asset management data using specialised software and company tools.
- Maintain accurate data records, storage and processing documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Produce high-quality reports and outputs in line with client specifications and project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and Integrated Management System (IMS) requirements.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders while delivering high levels of customer service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Diploma in Data Administration, ICT or a related field as a minimum.
- 1-2 years’ experience in data processing, data administration or a similar role.
- Experience working with large datasets, data storage, record keeping and information management.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEGE:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and intermediate MS Office proficiency.
- Data processing and data management experience.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Good reporting and record keeping skills.
- Time management and results orientation.
- Customer service orientation and strong communication skills.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid passport.
- Ability to work in a hybrid working environment
- Flexibility to work shifts or hours outside of normal business hours in support of operational requirements.
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally if required.
- Ability to work extended hours and weekends when operationally necessary.
- Valid driver’s licence.
