Data, Reporting & Solution Design

We are seeking a Data, Reporting & Solution Design to lead the design and delivery of data provisioning, reporting, and mining technology solutions that connect operational reality to actionable insights, enabling clients to improve performance while identifying opportunities for analytics, automation, and future technology growth.

Your Mission:

• Lead end-to-end data provisioning, reporting, and site data strategy for client implementations.
• Develop and maintain SQL views, stored procedures, data pipelines, and reporting data layers.
• Translate technical data into operational, management, and executive insights through dashboards and reports.
• Gather business and functional requirements and align them to technical platform specifications.
• Design, document, and maintain solution architecture, data flows, configuration guides, and data dictionaries.
• Manage data quality, performance optimisation, documentation, and governance across reporting and provisioning artefacts.
• Facilitate client sign-off, UAT, implementation adherence, handovers, and knowledge transfer.
• Manage multiple client engagements, including diagnostics, value scoping, planning support, and delivery tracking.
• Standardise implementation methods, templates, documentation, support processes, and environment transition practices.
• Stay current with Epiroc platforms, mining technology trends, and mentor team members in data, reporting, and solution design.

Your Profile:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in mining technology, mining IT, or as an information management service provider to the mining industry.
• A tertiary qualification (degree) in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience in SQL development (views, stored procedures, data pipelines) in a mining or industrial context.
• Proven experience in data provisioning architecture — designing and implementing data flows from source systems through to reporting and operational consumption layers.
• Experience linking deep technical / equipment-level data to operational and management reporting in a mining or heavy industry context.
• Able to regularly travel to our head office in Centurion as well as client sites
