About the Role

As the Dealer Principal for VW Kempton Park, you will lead our dealership operations with a primary focus on driving sales performance, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a high-performing team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the brand's reputation and ensuring operational excellence within a competitive automotive market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall dealership operations, including sales, service, and parts departments, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets while enhancing customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Motivate and manage a diverse team, providing coaching and development to ensure high levels of performance and employee engagement.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and the local community, to promote a positive dealership image.
  • Monitor and manage dealership financials, including budgets, forecasts, and profit margins, to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies and legal regulations, maintaining a safe and ethical environment for employees and customers.
  • Analyze market trends and competition to identify opportunities for growth and improvement in dealership offerings.
  • Implement effective marketing initiatives to promote the dealership and its services within the community.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in dealership management or a similar leadership role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong business acumen with experience in managing financial performance and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing successful sales and marketing strategies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Volkswagen brand and products is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications in dealership management or automotive sales.
  • Familiarity with dealership software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
