DECK FITTER X5

We are looking to appoint Deck fitters within the Assembly C5 Department. This position will report to the Team Leader. You will be expected to fulfil the necessary requirements with regards to the operational activities / requirement in the department to meet the Company’s objectives which is the manufacturing of high-quality components.

Key Job Functions

• Assemble and fit all deck fitting components.
• Read and Understand Drawings
• Must be able to use power tools (Grinder, Jigsaw, Drill etc)
• Assume responsibility and accountability for own work.
• Manage time and attendance.
• Assume responsibility and accountability.

Qualifications And Experience

• Minimum Qualification External Candidates: NQF Level 2 (Grade 10).
• Qualification Internal team members: NQF level 2(Grade 10) and/or a R&C competency certificate as a Deck Fitter.
• Ideal: NQF Level 4 (Grade 12)
• Experience: With at least 2 ½ years related work experience.
• Excellent timekeeping and attendance record.
• Able to work shifts.
• Able to work in a team environment.
• Have a thorough understanding of the quality condition within the Company.
