Delivery Driver / Merchandiser

Job description:

The Delivery Driver / Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining well-stocked, neat, and attractive displays within the store while providing excellent customer service. The role also includes conducting customer deliveries using the store delivery combi on weekends and when required, ensuring goods are delivered safely, accurately, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Merchandise and replenish stock according to company standards.
• Ensure shelves are neatly stocked, faced up, and correctly priced.
• Rotate stock and monitor expiry dates.
• Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Conduct customer deliveries using the store delivery combi.
• Load and offload goods safely.
• Ensure deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Perform basic vehicle checks and report any issues.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid and up-to-date South African driver's license.
• Previous retail, merchandising, or delivery experience will be advantageous.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move stock.
• Reliable, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
