Driver / General Assistant
Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, energetic and customer-focused Driver / General Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role that involves deliveries, collections, warehouse duties and assisting with the setup and breakdown of events.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect hire equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles.
- Pack and prepare customer orders accurately.
- Sort, clean and inspect returned equipment.
- Assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Set up and dismantle equipment at functions and events.
- Maintain neat, organised and well-stocked warehouse shelves.
- Assist with stock takes and inventory control.
- Report damaged or missing items.
- Keep delivery vehicles clean, fuelled and well maintained.
- Follow company procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Valid South African Driver's Licence.
- Valid Work Permit (if not a South African citizen).
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Honest, reliable and trustworthy.
- Good time management and punctuality.
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry equipment.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work occasional weekends, evenings and public holidays when required for events.
- Ability to drive a manual vehicle will be an advantage.
- Previous delivery, warehouse or event hire experience will be an advantage.
