Job description
We are looking for a Desktop Support Technician to join the IT department at TreasuryONE. This role is suited to a dependable and technically capable professional who takes ownership of their work and delivers consistent, well-structured support in a corporate environment.
The position involves providing first-line technical support across devices, systems, and applications, while ensuring stability, security, and reliability of the IT environment. You will work closely with senior IT staff, gaining hands-on exposure to modern workplace technologies and developing your technical capability further.
Key responsibilities
- Provide prompt and professional support for desktop, laptop, and mobile device issues
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems, applications, and hardware
- Troubleshoot Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive
- Assist users with network connectivity, printers, and peripheral devices
- Perform basic account administration, including access management and password resets
- Support endpoint protection, patching schedules, and routine software updates
- Log incidents accurately in the IT ticketing system and maintain clear, structured documentation
- Assist with asset management and upkeep of hardware and software inventories
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior IT team members when appropriate
Experience and qualifications
- IT Diploma, CompTIA A+ / N+, or equivalent certification (required)
- One to two years’ experience in IT support or a structured service desk environment (preferred)
- Solid working knowledge of Windows desktop environments and Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms is advantageous
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Clear, professional communication skills, particularly when assisting non-technical users
