Despatch Analyst

Job Summary

The General Despatch Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the despatch department, ensuring that goods are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time. The role involves preparing orders for delivery, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Checking orders for accuracy and reporting discrepancies
• Labelling, wrapping, and securing goods for transport
• Completing basic paperwork and updating despatch records
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse and despatch area
• Maintaining KPI and computer systems
• Have computer knowledge

Skills & Experience

• Previous warehouse or despatch experience desirable but not essential
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work well as part of a team
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks
• Good time management and reliability
• Microsoft and excel skills are required

Working Conditions
