Job description

DIESEL MECHANIC, ALBERTON

Position available for qualified diesel mechanic that have skills and knowledge to service and repair diesel engines of generator sets.

REQUIREMENTS

· Trade tested in diesel mechanics

· Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in performing as a diesel mechanic, preferably experience should include services and repairs on generator engines.

· Must reside on the East Rand of Gauteng.

· Experience on generators and knowledge and insight of electrical work highly advantageous.

· Valid drivers’ license.

· Must have a clear criminal record.

· Experience in operating lifting equipment and forklift.

· Safety orientated.

· Good communication skills.

· Physically fit perform daily tasks (standing for long hours, reaching, bending, lifting)

· Willing to travel for breakdowns and services.

· Willing to work after hours and on weekends/Public Holidays and Standby.
