POSITION INFO: NOW HIRING - DIESEL MECHANIC We have an exciting permanent opportunity available in Bloemfontein, Free State ! Location: Bloemfontein, Free State Salary: R30 000 per month Requirements: - National Senior Certificate (NQF 4) or equivalent - Diesel Mechanic Trade Test Certificate - Minimum 5 years post-trade experience - Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities - Advanced knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle electrical systems - Experience completing job cards and technical reports - Proficiency in diesel engine diagnostic software - Experience with forklifts, tractors, and trucks will be advantageous Key Responsibilities: - Conduct breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance - Service and repair trucks, forklifts, tractors, and other equipment - Complete job cards and maintain service records - Perform inspections and fault-finding activities - Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results - Supervise and mentor Mechanical Assistants - Maintain health, safety, and housekeeping standards - Repair, replace, and reassemble vehicle and engine components - Participate in toolbox talks and emergency field visits when required - Ensure quality workmanship and compliance with workshop regulations If you are a safety-conscious professional with excellent technical skills and a commitment to quality workmanship, this opportunity could be the perfect fit for you!
