Job description

DUTIES:

· Accurately diagnose vehicle faults found and reported on a vehicle

· Report any vehicle faults other than those detailed on the job card

· Order replacement parts

· Service heavy automotive equipment

· Ensure hazardous waste is disposed of appropriately

· Attend breakdowns

· Maintenance, service and repair (advantage)

· Carry out required repairs to standards

· To ensure that the workshop safety procedures are maintained

· To ensure that the workshop area is clean and tidy at all times

· To take personal responsibilities in complying with Road Toad policy on ethical business conduct and behaviour and to report any contraventions that could harm the business to the senior management of the company

· Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Qualified with trade certificate Min 5 years experience

· Code 14 drivers license with PDP

· Knowledge about vehicle engines and parts, automotive electronics and workshop engineering (advantage)

· MAN ,VOLVO,SCANIA,MERC experience

· Familiar with computer diagnostics

· Excellent electrical skills and skill in diagnosing problems

· Good Computer skills

· Knowledge about vehicle engines and parts, automotive electronics and workshop engineering

· Knowledge about Transport Safety Regulations and safety standards

· Must be able to work overtime and 24 stand-by

Pay: R10 000,00 - R15 000,00 per month
