Diesel Mechanic – Buses | The Netherlands
Are you a Diesel Mechanic who enjoys working on big vehicles and solving technical problems? Do you like a workshop environment where no day is exactly the same? Then this could be a great next step for you.
In this role, you will work on buses that keep people moving every day in the Netherlands. You will be part of a team of experienced and newer mechanics, where you can share knowledge, learn from others and continue developing your skills.
What will you do?
- Diagnosing and repairing diesel and electric buses
- Troubleshooting technical faults and control systems
- Repairing electro-pneumatic doors and other bus systems
- Using hand tools, diagnostic equipment and workshop tools
- Working together with colleagues to solve technical issues
- Logging completed work orders on your tablet
- Joining training sessions from manufacturers to keep your knowledge up to date
What do you bring?
- A trade certificate in automotive technology or a related technical field
- 2–5 years of experience working on buses, trucks or other heavy vehicles
- Willingness to work standby shifts when needed
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a practical mindset

- Salary from €4,357 per month, depending on experience and qualifications
