Job description
Position Available: Qualified Diesel/Trailer Mechanic
Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape (base depot)
Will travel once a month to Aliwal North, Butterworth, Mthatha, East London and Queenstown
Employment Type: Full-Time
Role Overview
We are looking for a Qualified Diesel/Trailer Mechanic with proven experience in servicing and maintaining trucks and heavy-duty trailers with different axle configurations.
Key Requirements
- Red Seal Certification (proof must be supplied)
- Experience in servicing and maintenance of trucks and heavy-duty trailers
- Ability to complete job cards electronically using a TIMA device
- Mandatory training completed at JOST, BPW & WABCO
- Valid South African ID and driver’s license (Code 14 license will be an advantage)
- Will have to travel to other depots for services and breakdowns
- Ensure parts are ordered for services at all depots
- Flexibility to work overtime (paid according to MIBCO specifications)
