Job description

Position Available: Qualified Diesel/Trailer Mechanic

Location: Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape (base depot)

Will travel once a month to Aliwal North, Butterworth, Mthatha, East London and Queenstown

Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are looking for a Qualified Diesel/Trailer Mechanic with proven experience in servicing and maintaining trucks and heavy-duty trailers with different axle configurations.

Key Requirements

Red Seal Certification (proof must be supplied)
Experience in servicing and maintenance of trucks and heavy-duty trailers
Ability to complete job cards electronically using a TIMA device
Mandatory training completed at JOST, BPW & WABCO
Valid South African ID and driver’s license (Code 14 license will be an advantage)
Will have to travel to other depots for services and breakdowns
Ensure parts are ordered for services at all depots
Flexibility to work overtime (paid according to MIBCO specifications)
