East Rand Bulk is an accredited fuel transportation company that prides itself on service excellence and customer satisfaction. We are currently seeking a young, vibrant, and energetic individual to join our team as a Diesel and Trailer mechanic
Main Purpose of the Position
- Maintain HDV fleet and fuel trailers.
- Perform routine fleet maintenance.
- Order correct vehicle spares and parts.
- Receive and safely utilize ordered parts.
- Complete inspections before releasing fleet vehicles.
- Ensure fleet meets Company requirements.
- Ensure fleet meets Oil Company requirements.
- Ensure fleet meets all Legal Requirements.
- Complete all relevant documentation accurately.
- Maintain the highest standards of paperwork.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- Certifiable Trade Test Certificate.
- Qualified in diesel motors and mechanical engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- EXCELLENT knowledge of fuel tankers and trailers.
- Strong knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures.
- Experience working on MAN, Volvo, and Mercedes trucks.
- Willingness to attend breakdowns.
- Computer literacy is a necessity.
- Must possess own tools.
