About the Role

Are you a passionate, patient-centred Dietitian looking to thrive in a collaborative healthcare environment? We are seeking a qualified Dietitian to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team in Fourways.

In this role, you will provide evidence-based nutritional assessments, diagnoses, and interventions to support the diverse health and wellbeing needs of our patients. Working alongside GPs and other healthcare professionals, you will deliver integrated care while helping shape and grow our practice's nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Services: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments, develop individualised care plans, and provide evidence-based dietary counselling. You will manage a diverse patient load, including weight management, diabetes/pre-diabetes, cardiovascular disease, GI disorders, sports nutrition, paediatric nutrition, and chronic disease management.
• Multidisciplinary Care: Work closely with GPs and allied health professionals, participate in case discussions, and contribute to integrated management plans for complex patient needs.
• Clinical Governance & Admin: Maintain accurate, timely clinical records, ensure strict patient confidentiality (HPCSA/POPIA compliant), and manage billing and coding according to practice processes.
• Practice Development: Foster positive relationships with patients and referring doctors, contribute to patient education resources/workshops, and support the growth of our nutrition services.

What We Are Looking ForEssential Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics (or equivalent recognised qualification).
• Current registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Dietitian.
• Valid Professional Indemnity Insurance.

Preferred Experience:

• Proven experience in a private practice setting.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Strong background in managing chronic lifestyle and metabolic conditions.
