Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Manager

Inhouse E-commerce and marketing manager required for our small but growing business based in Stikland Industrial, Bellville.

We are a small team manufacturing leather products at our family workshop in Stikland.

We want a hands on person on-site who we are able to communicate with on a daily basis and strategise as we continue to manufacture and introduce new products.

We are looking for a person with skills in the following areas:

- E-commerce / Website Management – managing the website, products, plugins, updates and troubleshooting

- Digital Marketing – Google Ads, SEO, analytics and performance

- Content Creation – product photography, AI-generated imagery, management of lifestyle photography and video shoots (you are not required to be a lifestyle photographer and video content creator)

- Social Media Management – Instagram, Facebook, Stories, Reels, etc.

- CRM / Email Marketing – Mailchimp newsletters

- Local Digital Presence – Google Business Profile

- Product Marketing – WhatsApp/Facebook product uploads, company catalogue design and updates, wholesale catalogue design and updates

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Basic website management and E-Commerce skills and experience required

- Basic knowledge of how Google Ads work is required

- Basic knowledge of social media required

- No photography diploma or course needed

- No design diploma or course needed

- Computer and communication skills required

- Must be able to speak English and Afrikaans

- Own transport required

We are a small team that work well together. We are friendly and very respectful towards one another witin a light and comfortable work environment. We do not tolirate drama.

Students with basic skills are welcome to apply, as we are happy for someone to learn as they go. The salary will then start at the minimum and be reviewed every six months.

Someone with more skills and experience will start with a higher bracket salary, depending on what skills they can offer us. The more you know, the more we pay :)

The scope of the job description is broad, as we are a small business that focus our attention on different aspects over a longer period, instead of needing someone to be responsible to manage the same thing daily.

We are open to part-time request (salary will then decrease accordingly).
