As part of our continued growth, we are recruiting an experienced Digital Performance Manager to join our Cape Town team.
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Digital Performance Manager to oversee the performance, optimisation, and growth of our digital marketing ecosystem across UK and international markets.
This role is responsible for driving website performance, technical SEO initiatives, agency management, digital reporting, local search visibility, and strategic digital growth. The successful candidate will act as the key link between internal stakeholders, external agencies, and suppliers to ensure digital activity delivers measurable commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, commercially focused, and comfortable managing multiple digital projects while driving accountability across suppliers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Website Performance & Technical SEO
- Oversee website performance, uptime, and technical SEO health across UK and international websites.
- Coordinate website roadmaps and prioritise digital improvements with relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor Core Web Vitals, page speed, structured data implementation, and technical SEO recommendations.
- Conduct regular website and SEO audits, ensuring actions are tracked through to completion.
- Work closely with development and supplier teams to resolve technical issues and improve site performance.
- Produce regular reporting and dashboards covering website performance and SEO metrics.
Digital Agency Management (SEO & PPC)
- Manage relationships with external SEO and PPC agencies.
- Hold agencies accountable for agreed deliverables, timelines, budgets, and performance targets.
- Conduct regular agency performance reviews and strategic planning sessions.
- Monitor lead generation performance, cost per lead, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure recommendations are implemented and measurable improvements are achieved.
- Review campaign performance and identify opportunities for growth and optimisation.
Google Business Profile Management
- Oversee Google Business Profiles across the UK office network.
- Ensure profile accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance with company standards.
- Monitor local search visibility and identify opportunities to improve rankings and engagement.
- Coordinate regular profile updates and optimisation activities.
- Support offices with local visibility initiatives and best-practice guidance.
Network Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for digital marketing updates and website-related communications.
- Provide guidance and support to stakeholders across the business network.
- Deliver regular updates on SEO, website developments, and digital performance.
- Facilitate training sessions, webinars, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Produce and maintain digital marketing guidance documentation and resources.
- Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners.
Reporting, Innovation & Strategic Contribution
- Produce monthly digital performance reports and dashboards.
- Deliver commercial insights and recommendations based on performance data.
- Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Research emerging digital trends, technologies, AI tools, and industry developments.
- Support strategic planning and contribute to long-term digital growth initiatives.
- Conduct competitor analysis and recommend new opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience in digital marketing, digital performance, SEO, or related roles.
- Strong experience managing SEO and PPC agencies.
- Proven understanding of technical SEO, website optimisation, and digital performance metrics.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, and reporting tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong project management and organisational abilities.
- Experience within property, franchise, or multi-location businesses would be advantageous.
- Experience using AI-powered marketing and reporting tools would be beneficial.
Portfolio of previous campaigns, creative work, reporting examples, or case studies required with application.
Pay: Up to R45 000,00 per month
