We are expanding our commercial footprint in Gauteng. We are looking for an ambitious, autonomous sales executive who thrives on high-value corporate deals, competitive commission pay-outs, and absolute autonomy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

• Company Overview: Digital Platforms is a full-service digital agency specializing in custom web and software engineering, e-commerce, and high-impact digital marketing retainers. Headquartered in Bloemfontein under the Central Media Group, Digital Platforms operates as part of African Media Entertainment Limited (AME), a premier media organization listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE). We combine listed-entity backing with an agile technical environment to deliver end-to-end digital transformation for top-tier clients.
• Role Overview: We are seeking an ambitious, highly autonomous Digital Sales Executive to lead our commercial expansion in Gauteng. Operating remotely as a strategic “hunter,” you will bridge high-end corporate clients with our Central SA production team by identifying complex digital needs, selling bespoke web/software projects, and securing recurring digital marketing retainers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• New Business Development: Drive new account acquisition across Gauteng, consistently achieving and exceeding monthly blended revenue targets across custom development projects and recurring digital retainers.
• High-End Client Consultation: Serve as a strategic consultant to C-suite decision-makers, analysing business needs and tailoring pitches for custom web architectures, software, and marketing strategies.
• Pipeline & CRM Management: Maintain 100% CRM compliance with rigorous pipeline tracking, cold outreach, client meetings, and accurate sales forecasts.
• AME Network Synergies: Leverage physical and operational proximity to sister media partners (such as United Stations, KAYA FM, Algoa FM, Media Heads 360 and Moneyweb) to drive cross selling and joint pitches.
• Technical Handover & Collaboration: Conduct detailed initial project scoping and maintain seamless communication for smooth technical handovers to the Bloemfontein production team.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven sales experience within digital software, web technology, SaaS, or digital agency environments.
• Track Record: Documented history of consistently hitting targets and closing high-value corporate deals/portfolios.
• Independent Drive: Highly self-disciplined go-getter capable of operating independently in a standalone remote capacity.
• Technical Acumen: Ability to translate complex technical software concepts into business value for enterprise clients.
• Mobility & Setup: Valid driver’s license and reliable transport for local client meetings in Gauteng, with willingness to travel quarterly to the Bloemfontein HQ.

• Competitive CTC: Remuneration package ranging between R25 000 and R40 000 per month, in line with qualifications and experience.
