This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of Human Resources functions within a dynamic retail environment. Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you will support key people processes, contribute to employee-focused initiatives, and gain practical exposure to Human Resources operations while building a strong foundation for a career in HR.
What you will love doing
- Support various Human Resources activities across the employee lifecycle.
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a positive employee experience.
- Provide administrative support for HR records, documentation, and employee information.
- Assist with the coordination of employee engagement, wellness, learning, and development initiatives.
- Support the preparation of HR reports, metrics, and people-related analytics.
- Assist with maintaining HR systems and ensuring employee data accuracy.
- Support employee communication initiatives and HR projects.
- Help coordinate HR events, training sessions, and workshops.
- Collaborate with managers and employees to support day-to-day HR activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing HR processes and employee experience.
- Ensure all HR activities are conducted professionally and in line with company policies and confidentiality requirements.

What you'll need to do this role
- A completed Diploma Human Resources, Business Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A strong interest in Human Resources and people practices.
- A willingness to learn and develop within a Human Resources enviroment.
