ABOUT THE ROLE:
Corrugreen CC, a manufacturer of corrugated packaging, is looking for an organised and detail-driven Dispatch Administrator. You will make sure the right boxes reach the right customer on time, in full and with the correct paperwork, by planning daily dispatches, coordinating our fleet and transporters, controlling finished goods stock and keeping customers and the Sales team informed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Draw up the daily dispatch schedule and plan loads by route, drop sequence and vehicle capacity.
- Prepare and check delivery notes, gate passes and Certificates of Conformance so that every load matches the order.
- Capture and file signed proofs of delivery (PODs) and keep dispatch records audit-ready.
- Control finished goods stock on the system, take part in stock counts and report aged stock.
- Make sure no product is dispatched without Quality Control release.
- Coordinate the company fleet and third-party transporters, check vehicle checklists and driver licence/PrDPs, and reconcile transport invoices.
- Log returns, shortages and damages, update customers on delays, and submit a daily dispatch report.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Qualification: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4).
- Experience: At least 2 years of dispatch, logistics or warehouse administration experience in a manufacturing, FMCG or distribution environment.
- Systems: Experience capturing orders, delivery notes, PODs and stock movements on systems.
- Excel: Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills for schedules, load plans and reports.
- Fleet and transport: Experience coordinating delivery vehicles and/or third-party transporters.
ADVANTAGEOUS:
- A certificate or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
- Experience in packaging or paper manufacturing.
- Knowledge of load planning, vehicle mass limits, load securing and driver documentation requirements.
- A valid driver's licence.
Pay: R7 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month
