Dispatch Team Leader

Storeplay (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dispatch Team Leader to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the accurate dispatch of shopfitting components, ensuring customer orders are correctly packed, documented, and dispatched on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the daily dispatch of finished goods.
• Verify that orders are picked, packed, and loaded accurately.
• Prepare delivery notes, dispatch documentation, and transport paperwork.
• Ensure all dispatched items correspond with customer orders and project requirements.
• Liaise with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, and Project Managers to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Conduct final checks on quantities and quality before dispatch.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records and filing systems.
• Assist with stock control and investigate dispatch discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Dispatch Team Leader within a shopfitting, manufacturing, or woodworking environment (Non-Negotiable)
• Sound understanding of shopfitting components, including boards, hardware, fittings, fixtures, shelving, and related manufacturing materials.
• Experience working with delivery notes, invoices, and dispatch documentation.
• Good computer literacy (Microsoft Office; experience with ERP/Sage systems will be advantageous).
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.

• Must reside in in Cape Town.
• Must have reliable transport to and from work.
• Must be able to work overtime when operationally required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High level of accuracy and accountability.
