Document/ Inventory Management: : To Start immediately

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric or equivalent.
• 3-year Logistics, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management Degree or equivalent Diploma.
• Computer Literacy Level: Advanced.
• Additional Computer Skills:
• Excellent knowledge of Zoho systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Inventory Management software/applications.
• Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for data management and reporting.

Job-Related Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a warehousing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of Inbound, Outbound, Cycle-counting, and Return processes and workflows.
• Proven knowledge and experience in root cause analysis and problem-solving, including investigating and troubleshooting stock discrepancies, incident reporting, and CAPA reporting.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and monitoring cycle-counting programs and wall-to-wall stock takes.
• Excellent communication skills—ability to communicate assertively at all levels internally and externally.
• Minimum 3 years' people management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and sound knowledge of Supply Chain.
• Commercial acumen to understand inventory-related contractual SLAs with clients and liability in the event of non-conformance.
• Good interpersonal skills for client account management.
• Good understanding of MRP and inventory management principles.
• Very strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Ability to support other sites nationally when required.
• Manage audit preparation, execution, and support relating to internal and client inventory audits.
• Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.

Role Responsibilities

Core Purpose: Responsible for the inventory management and control of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables within a multi-client distribution centre, in order to consistently exceed all inventory-related SLAs with clients.

Commercial and Client Focus:

• Understand the customer’s business and their specific customer requirements.
• Develop a strong, trusting relationship with clients.
• Deep understanding of contractual SLAs and KPIs.
• Adherence to SHE compliance and responsibilities.
• Management of tasks not stipulated in job profile (e.g., audit compliance, ad hoc operational requirements).
• Create and maintain various reports in line with KPI and contractual obligations.
• Control, action, investigate, and complete CAPA documents for short picks, nil picks, damages, and error percentages.
• Complete daily system checks to ensure all data flow with client systems is functional.
• Ensure customer inventory queries are processed accurately within 24 hours.

Inventory Management:

• Proactively control risks associated with inventory.
• Monitor and correct inadequate or inappropriate inventory to meet sales demands.
• Action high inventory levels (e.g., FIFO, Obsolete, and Slow-moving stock) on client request.
• Daily System Balancing: Manage and correct inventory movement records on WMS and ensure correction on client systems so that Mr Movers and client systems are always aligned.
• Control security over inventory to prevent loss, theft, or misappropriation.
• Plan and execute cycle counts, wall-to-wall counts, and ABC analysis.
• Ensure Material Master and Bin Master data is maintained and updated.
• Control quarantined and damaged stock, including inspections and scrapping processes.
• Ensure virtual locations (such as Suspense) within WMS never age more than 5 days.
• Ensure CAPA is actioned on all serious or recurring inventory issues.
