Donor Representative

Jicama is looking for an experienced and motivated Donor Representative to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for engaging with existing and prospective donors, developing strong donor relationships, securing donations and sponsorships, and achieving agreed fundraising targets.

Duties and Responsibilities Contact prospective and existing donors by telephone and email.

Identify and develop new donor and sponsorship opportunities.

Build and maintain professional relationships with donors.

Follow up on donor and sponsorship opportunities.

Present sponsorship and donation opportunities to prospective donors.

Maintain accurate donor records and follow-up information.

Achieve agreed monthly activity and fundraising targets.

Prepare regular reports on donor engagement and activities.

Assist with fundraising campaigns and organisational initiatives.

Provide professional and consistent communication to donors.

Represent Jicama in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements Previous experience in fundraising, donor relations, sales, business development or a similar position is essential.

Proven track record of working towards and achieving targets.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Confident and professional telephone manner. Strong sales, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

Excellent follow-up and organisational skills. Computer literate with good Microsoft Office knowledge.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Professional, reliable, driven and self-motivated.

Experience Previous relevant experience is required. Candidates without relevant experience will not be considered.

Pay: R7 000,00 - R8 000,00 per month
