Driver and Runner

Cloudline is an aerospace startup developing autonomous, solar-electric airships for long-endurance aerial operations, inspection, and sensing over remote infrastructure. Our work supports demanding real-world missions, and we rely on dependable operational support to help teams stay focused, responsive, and moving at pace.

As a Driver and Runner, you will play an important part in keeping day-to-day activity running smoothly across the business. This role supports the teams behind the development and operation of advanced aerospace systems, helping ensure critical items, materials, and logistics are where they need to be when they are needed most.

Responsibilities

• Run time-sensitive errands to keep engineering and operations teams moving
• Handle urgent errands in a time-sensitive support environment
• Coordinate pickups and drop-offs in a time-sensitive support environment
• Support busy engineering and operations teams in a time-sensitive environment

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of local driving experience
• Experience handling urgent errands in a time-sensitive support environment
• Experience coordinating pickups and drop-offs in a time-sensitive support environment
• Experience supporting busy engineering or operations teams in a time-sensitive environment
• Holds a professional driver's permit
• Eligible to work in South Africa
• Able to travel for deployments from time to time
• Able to work on-site
• Holding a Code EC/Code 14 licence is a plus
