Job description
Meridian Wine Distribution is looking for a Driver Assistant for our renowned liquor distribution team in Brackenfell, Cape Town. This role involves assisting with loading, unloading, and ensuring the timely delivery of products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with delivering stock to customers according to delivery schedules.
- Interact with customers in a respectful and professional manner.
- Confirm delivery details with customers where required.
- Report customer delivery concerns to the driver or supervisor.

- Verify delivery documentation before departure.
- Ensure stock is handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Follow delivery schedules and instructions provided by the driver.

Experience and Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- 1–2 years’ experience in delivery or distribution environment
- Ability to lift and move stock safely
- Valid right to work in South Africa
- Ability to work flexible hours and in varying weather conditions
